Matt has a proven track record of accomplishments from experience as a professional in a ‘Big 4’ accounting/consulting firm to private industry, to starting two business that he successfully grew and exited.
Matt has been in the executive search and consulting business for over 17 years and has a proven track record of building successful ventures from start up to nationally recognized multimillion dollar organizations. Matt joined Dickson Associates as a partner in early 1995 and started the Information Systems division with the goal of providing high quality permanent placement and consulting services. After 6 years of rapid growth (achieving revenue of $6.2M) In January 2000, Matt and his partners successfully negotiated the sale of Dickson to Accretive Solutions, a private, equity venture-backed organization located in Hauppauge, New York. Dickson Associates became the platform company followed by a series of Accretive acquisitions throughout the U.S. of high quality companies that specialize in consulting and search services in the professional areas of accounting/finance and information technology. Mr. Lewry served in a leadership role during and after the transition providing leadership, strategic direction and support for the follow on acquisitions as part of the Accretive Solutions roll-up strategy.
Matt grew the business in the Detroit Market to over $50 million from 2000 to 2006. In addition to his responsibilities in the Detroit market as EVP, he was responsible for setting business strategy for the Business and Technology Consulting and Executive Search divisions nationally from 2004 to 2006, during which time the firms revenue grew to $150 million. He also held the role as EVP of Executive Search and Recruiting Process Outsourcing where he was responsible for deployment of common business processes nationally for these practices and was actively involved in business development and delivery of executive search solutions nationally. Matt served on the firm’s IT Steering Committee and was the national subject matter expert for executive search.
In 2006 Matt founded TGR (The Golden Rule) Partners, a business advisory and executive search consultancy in Solana Beach, CA. As the name implies Matt has always believed in working with partners, colleagues and clients that adhere to highest standards, value each other and the maintain positive relationships. TGR provides services to mid-market and large clients throughout the United States.
Matt has a long track record of helping clients solve challenging business problems with creativity and flexibility. He has develop business relationships with executives in a wide range of industries and size of company including global Fortune 50 firms, as well as, smaller mid-market and private firms. He is responsible for all aspects of the relationship development, sales of consulting and search services, negotiation of multimillion-dollar contracts and delivery of services. TGR Partners, through Matt’s team and network of TGR Affiliates, is fulfilling its vision to bring the best people together to deliver outstanding services to TGR clients.
Holly has a wide range of experience in professional roles including as an auditor in the Big 4 firm Deloitte, HR management at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), Accounting and Finance Executive Search Consultant, as well as various roles in smaller companies.
Holly is a graduate from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in business and accounting and is a certified life coach. Holly is currently responsible for managing the operations of TGR Partners.
Scott has 25+ years of Business Advisory experience ranging from “Big 4” consultancies to start-up organizations. Prior to joining TGR Partners, Scott helped to start and lead TrueBridge Resources as a sister company to The North Highland Company. While at the company, TrueBridge expanded to 8 cities, positioning itself for companies’ increased reliance on innovative talent management solutions. During that time, TrueBridge was recognized by trade publication Staffing Industry Analysts as the 2nd fastest growing IT staffing company over the prior 5 years.
Before starting TrueBridge, Scott served as the Market Leader for the Atlanta office of Accretive Solutions. His experience as a Senior Manager at Deloitte includes Large-Scale Systems Implementation; Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures; Electronic Commerce; and Supply Chain and Financial Process Redesign. Earlier in his career, Scott worked at Accenture and the Ford Motor Company.
Scott holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He and his wife, Ann, live in the Atlanta area. And they are blessed with three smart, beautiful college-aged daughters, Megan (Vanderbilt), Mary Kate (Notre Dame), and Hannah (Georgia Tech). Scott is active in the Career Ministry at St. Ann Church, providing job search guidance and advice on working with external recruiters, the Parents’ Advisory Board at Georgia Tech and with the Notre Dame and Duke/Fuqua Alumni Organizations.

He spent the majority of his career with a leading Information Technology staffing firm in Toronto, Canada, and quickly became a top producer and leader within the organization. During his tenure John helped the organization achieve ISO 9001 Registered status (one of very few in the industry), build and grow a successful team with a cutting-edge standardized and automated recruitment process; both which helped to quickly establish the organization as a recognized provider of
John’s clients have included several Fortune 500 organizations and mid-sized companies in the private sector as well as ministries and agencies within the Ontario Government public sector with respect to the provision of full-time direct and consulting arrangements. He also has had significant success with cross-border search initiatives, helping U.S. companies establish operations in the Canadian market as well as facilitating TN Visa arrangements, allowing companies to tap into the robust Canadian talent pool with respect to niche roles and difficult-to-fill technology skill sets.
John’s association with TGR Partners since 2007 has resulted in many successful client projects including high-level Technology Executive Search and consulting talent mandates in a wide variety of industry verticals.
John has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada as well as an Honors Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from Humber College School of Business in Toronto, Canada.
John and his family currently live in beautiful Solana Beach, CA.
Tricia is an experienced Executive Search professional with over 20 years of experience.
Tricia started her recruiting career with a firm in Michigan specializing in all levels of Information Technology positions, including direct placement and consulting.
Tricia’s partnership with TGR Partners began in 2014. She has successfully partnered with a diverse set of clients across many industries and disciplines.
Tricia originally lived in New Hampshire where she studied Architectural Engineering before moving to Michigan in 1997.
Tricia and her husband spend their time enjoying golf, gardening and cooking.
